Health Promotion within a cultural Immersion Experience in Ghana (NUR 200)

An international experience enabling students to engage in a real-world, community focused service activity. Students will be introduced to Ghana’s universal medical insurance system, the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). Partnering with the Agogo Nursing Training and Midwifery College located in Agogo, Ghana, students will provide health promotion education to local communities. This international experience will enhance student’s cultural and global health perspectives building a global view of service to others.
